Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She's the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show would return to its production. Fourth season premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
